After a week of mindless drivel like We Own the Night
(yes, even with that cast...yes, even with Eva. Crap.) and Art School Confidential
we watched Gone Baby Gone
and it was fantastic. At first I thought, "Ben Affleck?" but the script was solid and every single performance was spot-on. I was shocked by how good everything looked too. If you're in the mood for a fairly gritty tale of morality that plays out beautifully against the backdrop of Boston neighborhoods, give this movie a watch.
