This post is a little out of order. We watched this prior to watching the train wreck that was We Own the Night so we still had hope for movies.

First off, Secretarylooks great. Some say that's not the most important thing and I tend to agree but if you're going to make an ugly film you should have just written a book, it's cheaper and their are less royalties but enough about We Own the Night. Secretary was wonderful and strangly charming. Spader and Gyllenhaal do an amazing job creating a believable hyperbole about people embracing their interests-S&M. If you're worried about unsettling visuals, a.)you shouldn't be reading my site, b.)watch anything other than movies made by Jerry Bruckheimer. Great movie. Watch it.
